Dressage on Sunday was very cold and snowy, Big thank you to everyone who made it safe and sound to compete and sounds like it was a very good day. There was a large number of people in each class for both Restricted and Open.
First class was the Intro C, 10 competitors in the restricted and 7 in the open.
We had joint winners in the restricted class Laura Bladen on She’s My Bella and Louise Robinson on Ozzy. They both got a score of 70.43% amazing results and well done to the both of you. 3rd place was awarded to Terrier Baxter riding Tickety Boo with a score of 68.70% well done.
In the open class 1st place went to Lydia Guest on Tiger Lily with a score of 72.39%, wow that’s a great percentage well done, 2nd was Amy Cound on Danebridge Penelope with a score of 70.22% and 3rd place went to Claire Al Redha on Great Demeanor with a score of 66.74%.
Massive well done to everyone who competed in the Intro C you all had amazing scores and you should be proud of yourself and your horse.
Second class was the Prelim 12 with 7 in the restricted and 8 in the open another competitive class.
In the restricted 1st place was awarded to Jazz O’Mahoney on Ollie with a score of 65.19% amazing score since he has just came back into work, 2nd place was Lydia Guest on Tiger Lily with a score of 63.52% and 3rd place was Isabella Dimbylow on Shabby Chic with a score of 62.59%.
In the open class Claire Al Redha was awarded 1st on Kilbrickin Bailey and 2nd on Great Demeanour well done to you, both horses had amazing scores. 3rd place was awarded to Jamie Clark on Bonita with a score of 67.78%.
Massive well done to everyone you all had amazing scores.
In the Novice class we had 5 competitors and you all did a great job you should all be proud. In 1st and 2nd place was Claire Al Redha on Croft Hill Selene and Kilbrickin Bailey both horses scored over 70% impressive scores. 3rd place was Jamie Clark on Bonita with a score of 70%, her first ever Novice. Well Done all.
Dressage to music: Both the novice and the intro had 3 competitors in them however we did have some withdraws sadly because of the snow (better be safe then sorry), 1st place in the novice DTM was award to Wendy Ingram on Silver Moth with a score of 64.72% 2nd place was Joanna Dunford on Darcy Rose with a score of 61.39%. Massive well done and I hope you both enjoyed the competition. 1st place in the intro DTM was Louise Robinson on Ozzy with a score of 67.17% Well done.
I would like to say a massive well done to everyone who competed on Sunday, the weather was awful but you all pushed past the cold and came up with some amazing results and you should all be proud.
